Terms of service

These terms govern your use of this TP Social registry. By claiming a handle, signing in, or publishing a page, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the registry.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. If your jurisdiction sets a higher minimum for entering this kind of agreement, that higher minimum applies.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you publish. By publishing a page through this registry, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store the signed wire format and to serve it at the URLs the protocol defines, for as long as your handle is active.

You are responsible for what you publish. You may not publish content that is unlawful where the registry operates, infringes someone else's rights, contains malware, doxxes a private individual, or solicits violence against an identifiable group.

3. Handles

Handles are first-come, first-served within the flat namespace (per Protocol Spec §9.3). Reserved names and names that collide with platform routes are not available. We may revoke a handle that was claimed in bad faith (e.g. impersonation, or squatting on a trademark we receive a credible complaint about), and we'll log the revocation in our public audit trail.

4. Accounts and authentication

Authentication is paired-device: your desktop client signs a challenge that this web session verifies. The registry never holds your seed. If you lose the seed, you lose the ability to publish under that handle — we cannot recover it for you.

5. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile. We may suspend or terminate access in response to a violation of these terms, a credible legal demand, or a security incident that requires it.

6. Disclaimer

The registry is provided "as is". We make no warranty as to uptime, suitability for a particular purpose, or the continued availability of any handle. The protocol itself is designed to outlive any one registry — if this one goes away, your signed pages remain verifiable on any other.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the landing page and via the changelog where applicable. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
